Enterprise AI · Astrion

From AI strategy to a working platform.

I lead Astrion’s enterprise AI initiative company-wide. I stood it up from nothing, launching shAIne, Astrion’s enterprise AI platform, with governance from the first month: reuse controls, output quality and explainability standards, and a role-based method for attributing the hours it saves. In that same month, agentic coding delivered a working Weekly Status Reporting tool in one week.

Programs get a repeatable way to adopt AI, review its outputs, and estimate its value with the assumptions in the open.

2024 – Present
Current role

Senior Vice President, Solutions & Artificial Intelligence

Jun 2026 – Present

Layered Defense, Autonomous Warfare & Integrated Fires Division

Promoted from Vice President, Multi-Domain Test & Evaluation.

  • Lead Astrion's enterprise AI initiative company-wide. Stood it up from nothing, launching shAIne, the enterprise AI platform, with ModelOps and evidence governance in place from the first month. Reached full seat uptake within one quarter at about 77% weekly use. Measured savings from the first three users cleared the platform's full annual cost by 40%. How it was measured.
  • Set the technical approach for data, evidence, analytics, ModelOps, and scenario development across the detect, identify, track, and defeat chain for Counter-UAS, integrated fires, and autonomous systems, supporting all six Astrion mission areas.
  • Lead cleared, cross-functional teams that turn test, training, and operational data into decision-grade evidence, solution narratives, technical volumes, and capability development plans for high-value pursuits.
  • Used agentic AI coding to deliver a Weekly Status Reporting tool in its first week; a separate estimate put the avoided development effort at 310 hours, about $32,500 in loaded labor.

Vice President, Multi-Domain Test & Evaluation

Oct 2024 – May 2026

Promoted from Director, Program Management.

  • Owned division growth strategy for multi-domain T&E across air, land, sea, space, and cyber, defining market priorities, capability narratives, and capture focus areas, with direct responsibility for expanding revenue.
  • Led solution architecture and capture strategy for strategic proposals, authoring technical volumes, building win themes, and running competitive analysis to position Astrion against incumbents.
  • Built and led Astrion's AI Tiger Team, directing custom AI assistants and workflow tools used across the proposal organization to cut draft cycle time and standardize output quality.
  • Authored a 20-page Counter-UAS, small UAS, and EW white paper linking Digital Horizon, Meridian, PULSE, and Facet into a unified U.S. Army capability narrative.
  • Redesigned CrewFlex from a legacy scheduling tool into an automated enterprise asset rated a proposal Strength by government evaluators.

Director, Program Management

Aug 2024 – Oct 2024
  • Directed program management for the division, establishing execution cadence, delivery standards, and governance across active programs and pursuits; promoted to Vice President within two months.
